![]() ![]() I’m afraid of true THRILL RIDES (not 3D), that’s why I want to share with you list of them (if you are the same type of person or you are just the other way about:) ): Revenge of Mummy, Simpsons. There are many 3D and 4D rides, where you can feel the atmosphere of every action like you’re inside it. There are some collaboration with audience as well. WATER WORLD SHOW: 20min water show with actors and striking actions. I advise you to start you day in Universal with it: you’ll get a store of energy and vibe for the whole day + no queues 2. You’ll know how shooting process goes and where pavilions of popular tv-shows are located. world’s famous STUDIO TOUR: 1 hour drive around the studio where you can see decorations to famous movies. There are two NO MISS special points, which you can’t meet anywhere else: 1. You can definitely spend here the whole day! There are a lot of modern rides and attractions with famous movies or cartoons themes. Living on the east coast, and likely never visiting Universal Hollywood again, the VIP Experience was still a worthwhile splurge for efficiency's sake, our guide was just a bit of a let down. Maybe it was nerves, or maybe she is just naturally really subdued. Bare minimum of information offered while we were walking around and the comparison was even more stark when we got to experience the second guide on the Studio Tour. While she fulfilled our goal of riding the biggest rides most efficiently, the whole day felt impersonal and flat. ![]() While other guides were having animated conversations, we got a polite "Hi my name is.we'll meet over there in about 10 minutes." This didn't change as the day progressed.Īt one point we learned our group was the first ever for our guide. Unfortunately our guide was MUCH more reserved from the get go. ![]() All were excited and engaging which got our hopes up quite a bit for the day ahead. While we were having breakfast we heard a number of other guides come through, introduce themselves to their groups, and ask questions to get feel for their interests. The best part of the Studio Tour was that we combined with another group who had a much more extroverted and engaging guide than we did. (I think this part of our day would have felt more valuable had we not been there during the writers strike and on a Sunday). The VIP version of the Studio Tour was interesting, but the time in the prop warehouse felt really rushed. There were a couple of characters making the rounds and the actor playing Dracula was truly exceptional in terms of being entertaining without being campy or creepy. Lunch was at the Moulin Rouge which was also surprisingly good given that it was a buffet. Water bottles, sunscreen sticks, and ponchos were all offered before we headed out for the day. The continental breakfast on arrival was good with surprisingly tasty croissant sandwiches and plenty of coffee options. We booked the VIP Experience hoping to maximize our time since we've never been before and only had one day. ![]()
